For the next 10+ years those two competidors fought to see who was the best player in the 1980's. Magic and the Los Angelas Lakers won five times and Larry Bird's Boston Celtics won the Championship three times in his career.

But thats old school. New school is Kobe vs. Bowen. Kobe Bryant, well known as the best scoring player in the NBA today. Bruce Bowen, Well known as the best defensive player in the NBA. When those two go head to head.....WATCH OUT!! Bruce is a nasty plater who will not back down to Kobe. Whenever the Spurs face the Lakers make sure you tune in to see some elbow flying action.....Bruce is not a scoring machine (averging around six points a game) but has been defensive player of the year many times.
