I mean look what he has done so far in 2 season. bringing the mavericks to a championship his first year in dallas and now having the chance to tie the best record in NBA history if the mavericks win out but it is more likely if they hit 70 which aint an easy road to get there anyway.

hes a great coach cause hes passionate, experienced as a player and has played with some of his team mates.
i dont think he will be the best coach in nba history though. he does still need to get the rings to be the best. let us also remember, he started under the tutoring of Don Nelson on a team that was already established.....its hard to guage how good a coach is when the team is established and strong. since he has come to the team, no major changes have occured that i can think of....in syaing so, hes a great coach, but hes not the best....not yet

Possibly, lets see what he can do with no one one his team in about 10 years or so. The best have made good teams out of nothing: Jackson help Lakers get back in the playoffs. It's to soon to tell for coach AJ!
He has a lot yet to do to even be mentioned with the likes of Auerbach, Riley, Jackson, etc.
As far as I can see, he hasnt won any championships, so I'm not quite ready to put him up in the leagues of Pat Riley, Phil Jackson and Red Auerbach.

He's a great coach but the only way he'll be considered one of the best in history is if his Mavs win 1 or 2 championships.
i think so i mean he has completley turned the mavs around. i mean look at the mavs 3 years ago and look at them now. he is the fastest coach to 100 wins in nba history.
If anything he has the most memorable voice.
